The stock market actually performed better under Obama than Trump.....

I just did a quick back-of-the-envelope calculation on how the S&P 500 performed during the Obama and Trump presidencies from inauguration day (January 20th) and February 8th of the following years. The S&P 500, as I'm sure you know, consists of 550 blue-chip companies and thus considered a much better read on what corporate America is doing than the Dow Jones (which includes just 30 companies). But anyway the S&P 500 is up 18.05% for the first 383 days (1/20/17 through today) of Donald Trump's presidency. Conversely, the S&P increased a whopping 31.24% through the first 383 days of Barack Obama's first term. Not bad for a liberal black constitutional law guy out of Harvard who "hated" America.
