A bit of an aside, but open enrollment in our area has really changed what HS sports used to be. Even though my kids took advantage of it for reasons other than sports, I think a lot of athletes miss out on the special bonds made by playing for their neighborhood/area school. Many schools suffer from not having players from their area playing there. My son had to endure such circumstances for four years.
