Bishop Gorman should go independent

A state championship is meaningless to teams like BG. They could easily fill out a schedule against teams from around the country. Right now, they play a few top national teams and then steamroll their way to a Nevada state championship. It’s meaningless. With their funding and widespread recruiting, they should be doing what Wasatch Academy (see link) is doing in basketball. They still play a few Utah teams but they think beyond trophies.

I don’t think Valor has reached that level but they could in the near future. BG has the advantage of getting kids from CA.
