There’s a lot more to consider

For example, Alabama has more P5 programs and D1 programs than Colorado.

How much of an impact do the Broncos have on CU football?? Are all 77,000 Broncos fans also CU fans? How many are forgoing the CU game because they can’t afford both? How often did they even play at home on the same weekend??

Tell you what, add up the Broncos, Buffs, and CSU average home attendance. Now do the same for Alabama and Auburn. Which is more?? (We won’t even factor in AFA, UAB, Troy, and South Alabama).
