Even with all of the population growth in Colorado, there still aren't more than 5 legit P5 players per recruiting cycle. In a good year, maybe 8 P5 kids who I would want at CU. Of course, we never get all of them so we end up with less than 5 and have to go elsewhere for everyone else. Gotta have a big time recruiter as a head coach who can go to California, Texas, Louisiana, Arizona, Illinois, Ohio, Georgia, and Florida to land the necessary talent. For whatever reason, it's been extremely difficult for MacIntyre to land blue chips out of state. He's coming off a south division title and he has beautiful new facilities, not to mention he's the national coach of the year. Time to start landing the big fish.
