1986 was when the real talent started coming to Boulder

and the 1987 class was legendary. I'm not seeing the same trajectory from Mac II. He's done a great job rebuilding the program from the ashes but it's hard to imagine him elevating this team to the top like Mac I.

Mac II can't seem to leverage the brand new facilities and south division championship in the recruiting wars this year. Can he cut the dead weight from his staff and bring in guys who can sell CU? Can he himself start closing the deal on 4 star talent?
