Run the damn ball


I watched Troy beat a far more talented LSU team last night. Troy threw 28 passes. Their leading rusher had 30 carries by himself. They rushed the ball more than they threw. The LSU DL was gassed on their home field from trying to tackle a 5-11 240 lb tank. Troy's game plan wasn't fancy or complicated. They beat a far more talented team by punching them in the mouth.

CU had 36 pass attempts against UCLA. Lindsay had 19 carries. Montez had 15 carries, most while running for his life. The Buffs had more pass attempts than their top two rushers combined rush attempts. That is a CRAP game plan. (Last year it was common for Sefo to have more carries than Lindsay).

Why do these coaches insist on making this game complicated?? RUN THE DAMN BALL. Lindsay should have at least 25 carries and the backup RBs should have 8-10 combined. Montez should have 6-8. Run, run, run and wear down the opponent !!
