Pac12 after midnight is unfair to student athletes.
So Buffs arrive (presume) Friday to avoid game day flight delay and do run through in stadium. Wait around till 8:30 pm (home time) next day to play till after midnight. Either immediately get on a charter that gets them back to Boulder early morning or go to hotel room and return early Sunday afternoon. Either way Sunday is also a blown day to unwind. This what Josh Rosen was talking about when he said could not lead normal student life. If the game was at 1pm – 4 pm would have the rest of day and night to be a normal student with a social life. Traveling team could wake up in own bed Sunday. Also wouldn’t be bad for coaching and other support staff to go home and see the family once a week.
What is so bad about current Pac12 tier 1 football contract is that Larry gave away so much on start times for so little, currently the wor$t P5 contract. While the dollars support phenomenal conference and some on campus salaries it is not the main source of AD funding. That is still the fans through tickets and contributions who also get a big FU from Larry.
