Explaining last year


A perfect confluence of events. All the teams we beat were down for one reason or another and we took advantage of a very poor Pac 12 (outside of Washington and USC). In our 4 losses last year and in particular the last two we went backwards on offense. That trend has continued this season. Success of a program is not defined by one season, it's defined by long term success. We have not achieved long term success and I beeive in large part it's due to offensive play calling. UCLA tried to hand over the game last night and our O coordinator said "nah you guys can have this one."
