I have seen a lot of him

kind of a tweener. At 6-4 too small to be a 3 and doesn't really have the handles or quickness of your prototype Pac12 2 guard . That's probably why CU was his only P5 offer. Biggest question marks for me with Dalen are whether he can guard the 2 spot and whether he can get around the Pac12 2 guards that will be defending him. He is a real crafty left handed kid and pretty explosive leaper. He has an adequate outside shot, but not a real good handler of the basketball and not very fleet of foot.
I think the staff likes his upside (kind of like they did with D. Walton) and hes an instate kid so why not offer him and see how he develops
