Worst officiated game I ever saw- '95 Nebraska at CU


Two teams loaded with NFL talent. Nebraska wins 44-21. Buffs were flagged for 12 penalties for 92 yards. Most were legit. No complaints. Nebraska was flagged for ZERO penalties for ZERO yards. Criminal.

I read an article a few days after the game that gave specific details about TWELVE penalties that were missed by the refs. Six were non-negotiable, undeniable 100% blown calls. Six were very probable. Several of these blown calls led directly to Nebraska points. I don't know if CU would have won, but they wouldn't have lost by 23. If our 5th down game was a travesty, then so was this game.

Moral of the story: It's been 22 years and the score hasn't changed. Nebraska still has their MNC. Life goes on. CSU and CU fans need to start thinking about the next game.
