It was a close game in the 1st half and nobody expected
the score to be 58-27. There was plenty of room for improvement on the part of CSU IMO. They made too many bone head penalties and Stevens got hit too much and Stevens was lucky he didn't have 2 INT's. That said, CSU was still up 24-20 at the half on track to score 44 points which is about what I expected. In the 2nd half Tre Thomas made a great defensive play on a tipped ball and returned it 45 yards for a pick 6. We also got a turnover because a CSU defenders gang tackled and stripped the football. Those were not gimmie plays, that was good defense. By the time CSU was up by 2 TD OSU started flailing which is no big surprise. It was open season on every throw but that's what happens when teams get behind by 2 TD's on the road against good teams. I have no doubt CU will be a tougher challange. I hope so. I want CSU to beat good teams for crying out loud.
