Keys to RMS
1. Team speed on defense - They may not have had the best 40 times, but Awuzie, Witherspoon, Thompson, and Olugbode played really well in space. We shutdown CSU's WR screen game last year and didn't give up many big passing plays. OSU is slow, so it's hard to tell how well CSU's screens will work on Friday. Can our DBs play comparable to last year?
2. Team speed on offense - Can CSU stop our running game with 6-7 in the box depending on the formation? I don't think they can afford to give up a safety. We have at least 2 WRs who can outrun both of their corners.
3. LBs - We need someone to play like Olugbode last year, and we need pressure on the QB from the OLBs. CSU's offense worked great in the 2nd half today when they got their running game going and the QB had time to throw. Their QB doesn't throw well when he has to move and reset.
4. Turnovers, special teams - Don't spot them any points. They didn't make any big mistakes on ST, and they didn't have any bad turnovers. We have to match them. I think team speed on ST is in our favor, but we haven't shown the we can consistently execute.
Game on, futhermuckers.
