FWIW, Xfinity was going north of

$270 for TV and the internet per month. I went to their web site, signed up as a new customer in my wife's name and got all the channels and 200 mbps for $129 per month. Add on the DVRs, taxes, etc. and it saved me about $115 off the old bill per month. I also locked that price in for two years, no cable bill creep.

They did call back and asked if I wanted to cancel and I told them I did. They came out the next day and installed the latest and great boxes and I have been saving some scheckles these last 6 months.
