Legendary scam that he ran. I believe it was a fake Florida high school program that basically gathered kids from bad homes in cities and international kids. Their "school" was basically an AAU program that handed out diplomas.
When KSU hired him, the league pretty much wrote that off to the school being desperate for the glory days at any cost, which he partly gave them back with the likes of Michael Beasley and others.
Maybe he's doing things legitimately now at South Carolina, but he's a slime ball. I remember some interviews. He owned up to nothing, and his attitude to any reporter who questioned his past was nothing short of thuggish.
