There are some here who are critical of any hire if it's not a big time, homerun coach. Everyone has to get their big break and start somewhere.

In some ways turning around a HS program is more impressive (relatively) than turning around a college program because HS coaches play with the hand they are dealt.

I'm also impressed with what Brown did at Army. Army is kinda like a HS team, they play with what they've got. I don't necessarily cheer for the service academies but I follow them, and Army was much improved this year.

Hopefully Brown can recruit successfully. He won't last long if he can't. We should all get behind him and hope for the best.
