In the 90's my friend Herman Houston told of his son Lavell who went to Tennessee for a recruiting trip. These folks the Houstons are very level headed and they were discusted with what they threw at their son. He later told me there is a different culture to college football that you don't see. I saw minimal with my son for football which was all pretty good but they do treat these kids like Gods gift to football as a 17 year old. The South East Conference is professional college football as if you didn't need to already know it. Different rules. The coach being there at 5am, not unusual. Remember Rick while in Washington sitting in his car outside a recruits home calling him on the phone and asking the kid to come to his window even though it was against the NCAA rules during a quiet period.

College football is big time money. College basketball is worse.
