I looked at his stats. His big game was his soph year, when


...he led the Buffs to a 30-24 comeback win at home in the rain against Kansas. He played in that game after Hagan went down with an injury. The stats don't show that he ever made a tackle while on defense.

With Kordell and Detmer arriving, he played very little at QB after '91. He is credited with one tackle on Special Teams his senior year ('94) and one knock down block. I believe he was on the depth chart for DBs though in '94.

QBs getting some stats during 90-94:

90 Hagan, C Johnson, Joseph
91: Hagan, Joseph,
92, Stewart, Detmer, Tobin (VJ must have medical redshirt)
93, Stewart, Joseph
'94 Stewart, Detmer

I think he was the victim of a lot of depth at the positions he could play.
