Agreed. Let the committee rationalize how 3 teams get in based on which way the ball bounced in certain games, and the margins of victories, and the strength of schedule (which itself is based on subjective rankings). But put in 5 conference champions to eliminate as much subjective BS as possible. I'd also like to see a conference championship game required. If the Big 12 doesn't agree, then put in 4 conference champions, and let the Big 12 take a chance on winning the subjective votes.
