P12 refs call unintentional targeting by a tackler on a runner who is


giving himself up and the tackle is launched earlier at a higher profile. Ejection is a severe penalty that should have been called a couple of times when the helmet hit was intended. Guess that was a Big 12 crew.

Seems like both teams were masters at pushing rules to the limit with run pass option beyond officiating ability to keep up.
