The taller guys 6'2--6'3 become WR now because they can make...
...more $ at a WR or TE in the NFL. Look at the top 50 RB on Scout or Rivals. Only two taller than 6' 1, although there are several at 6' or 6'1.
Rivals Top back in the country is Najee Harris, going to Alabama. He is 6'2 and 222. Bama also has Brian Robinson, who is listed as 6'1 and is the #6 back. So they will have those two plus Scarborough next year. 3 big backs to pound away.
If Alabama signs all of the bigger backs, no one else can employ that component into their offense.
2018, in their Top 25, there are very few RBs taller than 6'
Scout lists about the same (Harris is #1).
There just aren't a lot of big backs with speed out there. That's probably why Bisharat was a 4* last year. He might move to LB, but they might want to keep him on offense as well.
