Mitchell had a great run but Terry didn't win a title


His senior year, fall of 1973, Mitchell got to the Class AAA final, where it lost to a great Wheat Ridge team that was absolutely loaded on defense, including LB Lee Kunz, who played for Nebraska and in the NFL.

Terry did play on Mitchell's 1973 state hoops title team as a junior but was not one of the key players.
