It wasn't about his relationship with MM at all. It was about $$ OU tripled his salary and CU couldn't come close to matching plus extended him an additional 2 years guaranteed. CU won't be a powerhouse program until CU pays the necessary $$ to keep coaching staffs in place. OU made a statement today and unfortunately (for we CU fans) it was at CU's expense.
