Is CU overrated at #10?
As of this week CU has only beaten one team with an above .500 winning record - Stanford, although they are now ranked in the CFP rankings and count as a top 25 win. CSU and ASU both fell to .500 this week. The big plus for CU is that their only two losses have come against #3 Michigan and now #13 USC and the CFP committee must be giving them some love for that. The good thing is they now get to play #22 ranked 8-2 WSU and #12 ranked 8-2 Utah, with a potential CCG against a then ranked team if they win out. So any argument for being overrated will be put to the test. My opinion is that that #22 WSU is about where they should be. WSU lost to D1 Eastern Washington and has also only beaten one team with a winning record - Stanford. Bottom line opinion is that #10 CU is overrated in the CFP ranking and should be closer to #13-15. The only real difference, record wise, between WSU and CU is that CU beat their D1 opponent. Still what a glorious season of CU football with the fact that this is even a discussion point. Anyone want to chime in?
