At least Nebraska was a traditional power


They had some history to brag about. They were consistently in the Top 10 and contended for national championships almost every year. Utah is a former MWC team with an attitude of superiority.

True story: I watched the Utah/Arizona State game with a group of neighbors who are Ute fans. At one point, one of them said their Utes have been playing DOWN to the level of their competition for years in the PAC 12. They literally view the PAC 12 as a move down for their team. Very backwards.
