Definitely a natural rivalry


Border war. The two schools most recently added to the PAC 12. Both considered outliers geographically.

I can tell you the vibe here in Utah is that CU is "below" Utah and therefore not worthy to be Utah's rival. It's amusing considering Utah just came out of the MWC. I don't think the Utes are looking for a conference rival because the BYU rivalry is so intense and nasty.
