ASU gave up 41 points to USC. We presume to have a much better defense, but we are going to have to live up to it today. The offense has been playing lights-out, but we can't expect those fast starts every game. When the offense struggles from time to time, we need the defense and special teams to step up and keep them in the game. We have not had to come back from a deficit of a couple of scores. At some point this season, we are going to get down early by 10-14 points and we will be very anxious to see if we are up to the task of coming from behind. I have a hunch we can do that, we just haven't had to see it yet.

In Oregon, defense made the final play to preserve the win. I project the opposite this time. Montez rolls to his left and throws a winning touchdown pass to Bobo down the left sideline to get the come-from-behind win: 37-35.. Somewhat reminiscent of Ron Monteilh who did this against Kansas State about 11 years ago. The two kids have a little in common in their personal lives. This would be a story book win.
