At the beginning of the season, the coaches had to choose between the loyal senior returning from injury and the Elite 11 star who is better in many aspects of the position.

The coaches chose the senior and for the first 4 games he was very mediocre at best. He is clearly not his former self but the coaches are stuck with him (loyalty?) while the stud who lit up the scoreboard last year watches.

I realize Sefo was playing well before his injury. However, the coaches have now seen both players in game action and they have to put the best one in the QB1 position. It's not about records or which one is older. It's about winning games.
