Re: Parents cannot turn their back on a 4 year old even for a couple of

minutes. I used to teach pre-school, and 4 year olds can get into anything. The four year old climbed over the enclosure and fell into the moat. The parents were probably scrolling through their phones. People get busy doing that or sending text messages and stuff, and they lose all track of time and surroundings. I've seen people walking down the street scrolling through their phones, and they walk right into the lamppost.

Parents do that in the supermarket line,- start looking at their phones- and the kid runs away from them and back into the candy aisle to grab something....
What is the kid doing climbing up the fence in the first place? I think the parents should be billed for the cost of the Fire Department to put down the gorilla and rescue the child. Honestly, I love kids, but I feel sorry for the gorilla. :-( - B4E
