I think they have jurisdiction
The"benefit" to the kids was avoiding investigation and prosecution. This is different from Perp State U, in that PSU involved protecting and covering up for an abusive coach. Here the players themselves were the ones protected.
A lot of people in Baylors universe are equating this to PSU - and predicting the NCAA will stay out. I see it as different but that does not mean we will see any NCAA action.
The inability to deal with the mess at North Carolina, the total fold on Penn State, tells me the NCAA has become a corrupt organization. I expect nothing significant.
What should happen? Forfeit all non conference games for two years - don't play them. No TV appearances for two years. No post season play for four years. immediate eligibility of every player, other than those who were protected, to transfer to wherever they want. Funding of financial awards to every woman who suffered under this system. 50% reduction in scholarships.
It will take two years and nothing like this will happen, [Post edited by cswilliam at 05/29/2016 10:21PM]
