Reading the linked article

The article is laughable. It talks about everything except the core issue - a deep divide between major players. BAMA doesn't like Ohio State bringing a "camp" to its back yard. Saban and the school has spent years developing their dominance in the market, and they expect the NCAA to protect that position.

So,ething odd happened to change the vote. Maybe the NCAA got a demand letter from someone about anti trust violations from an unhappy school,. Whatever it was - it was ugly.

NCAA decisions only make sense when the NCAA is understood to be nothing more that a market protection and market allocation entity.

If you want to argue with this - please explain the interminable silence that has followed the outing of North Carolina for thirty years of Academic fraud. A BAMA coach is immediatrly fired for hints of recruiting violations, but a UNC - who for 30 years has put its athletes through fake no show classes - is in the NCAA Chsmpionship?
