That must have been really interesting. Bet your son enjoyed that talk. "Apollo 13" is one of my favorite movies. I was always fascinated by the space program. Maybe you've been to Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center. They have one of the original Saturn rockets on display, and it is ginormous.
Back in the 1960's my Dad was a computer hardware engineer for a company called "Unisys." They had the contract to design the guidance systems for those rockets. My Dad said that those computers operated on less than 1 megabyte of RAM. It's' incredible how far the tech industry has come since then. - B4E
