According to the Athlon pre-season magazine, 4 of the top 50 prospects are in the Rockies farm system. So they have that going for them.

You're right, the Monforts are totally screwing Rockies fans. They are laughing all the way to the bank. I would never spend a dime on a Rockies ticket or merchandise. I'd rather watch a bad high school team in 20 degree weather than watch a Rockies game on TV.

Even if you factor in the "altitude ruins our pitchers" excuse, the Monforts show no commitment to winning. If pitchers are at a disadvantage in Denver, then load up on hitters and try to outscore teams like the Rockies did back in the early years. At least TRY to win!!
