I doubt many bothered to tune in to the debate last night, I didn't even watch all of it.

However, Kasich deserves major kudos for his stance on sustainable initiatives. The applause hadn't even died down from Rubio's proclamation that we can't claim global warming as being caused by man, and that even if it is, there is nothing that can be done--when Kasich stated he believed that man is to blame for gw, and that we should continue to pursue clean fuels.

Coupled with his continued position on immigration reform that flies in the face of the red meat positions of Cruz, Rubio, and Trump, Kasich reminds me of McCain circa 2000 in the GOP primaries versus Bush. Not afraid to take the right position regardless of its popularity-or lack thereof- with the base.
