Jim Webb had left the possibility of running as a 3rd party candidate open when he suspended his campaign. He was on Morning Joe the other day and was asked about it. He said he discussed it with Ralph Nader and Nader told him that he had 27 lawsuits filed against him from the DNC alone.

I think the two parties have really clamped down on this, it sounds like an impossible path.
