More than 33,000 people die in this country


every year in traffic accidents, and yet no one except the families of the dead raise a peep. I'm not making light of former players like McCoy who die of dementia, but there are many former players who live long, healthy lives. Football is a violent game, no doubt about it, but I think most of today's players are aware of the dangers.
