I've wondered the same thing
It think he's trying to establish CU as a program that develops men first and pro players second. Admirable, but frustrating as a fan who hates losing more than I like winning. He has recruited some excellent young men, and settled for others who have not panned out. What he has not recruited are the one-and-done (or max 2 yr) talent level kids like we saw throwing down monster jams last night for coach LoRo. If CU is going to compete with UA, UO, UCLA, UW and the growing list of Pac12 schools becoming stronger, RG may need to find the next young Calipari out there.
