If you've never Played in a big game......

then you can rationally explain just about anything. But if you have played in a big game you don't hold anything back. You arm yourself to the gills and know that the guy beside you will have your back. Now the QB is the leader of the team. Experience means everything and if you can put a Peyton Manning out there reading defenses and putting you in the position to win, there is no choice for Coach Kubiak. How would you feel if by the middle of the second quarter we were losing and then the decision to put in a Hall of Fame quarterback after half time? AT this level of competition in would be probably too late. Your defense wants the best out there and your offense does to.

No question I would want Peyton out there but the other team would want the backup.
