I'm not sure starting Manning is the right decision.

As of end of last season, the offense just hasn't been scoring points at all, even when Manning was playing. Same story this year. Statistically, Manning had his worse year ever.

Under Brock, point production hasn't been very good either, but his youth and mobility gives Denver another dimension. He has done an admiral job limiting turnovers and helping the offense move the ball.

I really liked the idea of giving Brock the first shot, knowing full well, that Manning is there to come off the bench, with the hurry-up, and his calls at the line, to totally change the complexion of the game. It's like another gear waiting to be used.

By starting Manning, where do we go if the offense is sputtering? Unless he is woefully bad, they are not going to take him out.
