Not prepared
They were not prepared properly in my estimation because the game got out of hand right away. That led to being demoralized and the appearance of being intimidated.
The running game has not developed. That is being unprepared. They will struggle against better teams without a running game to complement a passing game. The offense can not rely on Sanders and the wide receivers alone. Teams will catch up on that and will stop the offense if that's all they do. We saw what can happen when a tight end is involved in the offense... it works.
Failure on special teams leads to demoralized players. The special teams coaches need to prepare special teams much better.
The defense looks like they run a standard defense the entire game. That is easy to successfully scheme against. They don't seem to vary the defensive set up. They don't seem to run very many line or linebacker stunts or have linebacker blitzes. You can't do it a lot, but a safety or corner blitz can cause havoc if chosen to run in some situations. Part of defense is confusing the opposing offense.
