The fake punt


The fake punt play came from scouting and preparing. They tried it because they KNEW it would work. It was a very demoralizing situation. You get a stop inside the 20 and then let that happen. And followed by an eventual touchdown. That ended the game right there.
Colorado had better shore up their special teams. From Colorado perspective you absolutely can not let a team have a fat guy run half way down the field on a fake punt. The special teams coach or coaches have not prepared properly.
