Thanks for posting this. You are right on point. The offense needs to run the ball more effectively. Your post below about scheme is also right on point. There are ways to do it that haven't been shown very much at all.
You need equal or more blockers at the point of attack. That's something I used to talk about on this board for years. You need a scheme and a mindset to do it. You can run much better even with average players. You can't keep trying to run a 170 pound back between the tackles without more blockers at the point of attack.
Here is Wilkerson behind Bishop Thomas and other blockers including a pulling tackle. Dylan Edwards or any other player would have scored on this play with blockers at the point of attack.
