Something to know about antennas:

There is no such thing as an 'HD antenna'. It is a marketing gimmick. All transmissions for over the air (OTA) are simply digital signals. Usually the OTA signals are in 1080p quality. Streaming and cable are generally 720p as they need to compress the signal to fit it more channels. Your TV does the rest to upscale. So if you have a 4k TV, it upscales 720 lines of resolution to fit into the 4k number of pixels, which is just over 2100 lines of resolution. SONY supposedly has the best chipset to upscale and smooth out motion. But most of us probably wouldn't notice the difference between a SONY and other decent brands.

If you live in the Denver metro area, you can probably get away with one of those inexpensive flat panel antennas to directly connect to your TV. Here's some recommendations:


I use a 1byone flat antenna when I tailgate at the Buff games, when other games are on, where I set up a TV, and point the antenna towards Denver.
