All true. I add that if your 2nd unit is better than theirs, +- goes up.

You could have a +- at +10 and your team still lose.

But I agree that Lovering is helping with immeasurables like shot alteration, solid screens, talking on D, hands on loose balls, deflections, correct position on D and others. He does some of those things really well. Screens are sometimes weak, some times soft.
