We obsess about who's taking snaps, but it should be about the schemes.
Our schemes here have been woeful for a long, long time. I always have the feeling that our OC thinks he's outsmarting the other coaches through bedazzling play calling. In reality, we don't focus on the things that matter.
What does matter? In my view it is three things primarily: 1) establishing a running game that the other team has to respect, and 2) in the passing game, timing and execution, and 3) having an OL that can deliver #1 and #2.
What I've seen is CU putting their QBs in almost impossible positions to succeed. It almost doesn't matter who's taking snaps until we get a successful system in place.
