That is why I was surprised. I thought that was punishable by death

But seriously I dug just a bit, and in 2020 they started staying in the locker room for the Anthem in protest of whatever. Haven't seen a new article on it since. So I went to some Aggie message boards and found an Aggie fan being a bit surprised by that fact they weren't on the floor for the Anthem, and a guy replied 'you obviously haven't been to a football game lately.'
We have a buddy in our golf group that is from A&M. And let me tell you, we gave him some $Hit for it. Like 'I expect it from CU but A&M?!?!'
So again, like you I found it hard to believe. I also hope you are right.
