Jazz, Blazers and Twolves are early surprises in West
Chauncey doing a great job in Portland. They didnt really do anything in off season other than getting Jerami Grant (who is on an expiring deal) and they are looking like a playoff team.
Utah did a fricking fire in the summer sale getting rid of Gobert and Mitchell and collecting draft picks. Not sure why they are winning, and dont think its sustainable, but they have best record in the West
I had Twolves pegged as a top 4 team in the West after they got Gobert. They have 3 dudes that can get you 40 on a given night in Kat, Edwards, and Russel plus the rim protector Gobbert. They are below .500 and giving up a lot of points.
Not surpised by GSW playing poorly. Championship hangover, the Dray/Poole incident, and their weak bench are why they are struggling. By the end of the season they should be top 4 in the conference.
