My point is that Tad didnt need a 3rd string 2 guard
Harris seems to be an OK player, but When you bring in a grad transfer for 1 year it is to help your team for that season, at the expense of getting a younger guy some minutes. Nique will get the starter minutes at the 2, and Tad has already said Hammond and KJ will play some minutes at the 2 when they aren't playing PG. You also have Gibbidon, Ruffin, Smith and Hadley that can give you spot minutes at the 2. It simply isnt a position where the Buffs were in need of depth, and unless Harris is much better than the young guys that are coming back next year you give the young guys the minutes. Gibbidon makes sense for 1 year cuz he is defensive stopper that they dont have. I just dont see where Harris fits into a 9 man rotation.
They do need depth at the 4/5 and a 1 year dude at that spot, even if he is simply a big experienced body that that get rebounds, play post D and set screens, would have been much more valuable. Hurlburt is clearly not going to play much, so right now CU is going with TDS, Lovering and Obrien as his rotation at the 4/5
