I think the bigger factor is the quality of opponents in the Pac12 just isn't as difficult as the Big 12 from top to bottom. I always wondered how the Buffs would be doing in MBB if they were stil in the Big 12.
I think Tad has the Buff averaging in the top half of the conference in the Pac 12. I can't imagine that success in the Big 12.
