I look at the anger a different way

Yes, Wilson was not good, at all, today. But criticism of him is misguided IMO.

Why? A multitude of reasons.

The draft pick compensation for him meant the Broncos couldn't draft in the first two rounds and maybe improve the OL, at TE (or MLB or along the DL).

Next, in the trade, no one talks much about this but Denver gave up its best pass catching TE. That hurts. AO aint it, IMO. Russell Wilson could use a good tight end running routes.

Then Tim Patrick goes down, for the season! Damn! One reliable receiver and big target down.

Then Hamler is hurt AGAIN.

Then Jeudy gets hurt AGAIN.

All that is going to affect the passing game. Imagine a carpenter hired to build a house and he's not given any tools. Good freakin' luck. Or a pilot with no navigation tools.

It's not all Wilson. Yes, he's paid to produce and I think he will but his offensive unit is damaged right now and not in full working order.
